Priyanka Chopra, an actress who shines both in Hollywood and Bollywood, has just revealed her latest thrilling project: a movie called “The Bluff”. This action-packed adventure will be directed by Frank E. Flowers, the talented filmmaker behind the recent box-office hit, “Bob Marley: One Love.” Plus, the Russo Brothers, known for their work in the Marvel universe, are producing the film! Even more exciting, Karl Urban (famous for “The Boys”) might be joining the cast.
Priyanka, always seeking out unique roles, excitedly announced “The Bluff” on her Instagram. She included a fun quote by Mark Twain: “Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates.” Fans went wild in the comments, thrilled about this new adventure.
So, what’s the movie about? Set in the Caribbean during the 1800s, “The Bluff” tells the story of a fierce female pirate (played by Priyanka). When her mysterious past comes back to haunt her, she’ll need all her courage and cunning to protect those she loves.
This isn’t Priyanka’s first time working with the Russo Brothers – she starred in their popular Amazon series “Citadel”.
“The Bluff” will be filmed in the beautiful landscapes of Australia. While there’s no release date yet, you’ll be able to stream it on Amazon Prime Video worldwide.
Priyanka has a busy 2024 ahead! Besides “The Bluff” she’s got other projects coming out like the action-comedy “Heads of State” and a return to Bollywood with “Jee Le Zaraa.”
