Indian actress Sara Arjun has offered new insights into the highly anticipated Dhurandhar Part 2, promising audiences a more intense and action-packed continuation of the story. Known for her role as Yalina Jamali in the first film, Sara emphasized that the sequel will expand on what fans loved about the original while deepening character arcs.

In an interview with NDTV, Sara explained that the second installment raises the stakes on multiple fronts. “People have expectations after part one. Part two has more of everything that viewers liked,” she said, pointing to heightened action sequences and a stronger, more intricate storyline.

Sara described her preparation for reprising Yalina Jamali, the daughter of a Pakistani politician, noting that she invested considerable time in understanding the character’s motivations and emotions. “We discussed her journey in detail. I wanted to understand how she thinks and feels,” she explained, highlighting her commitment to bringing authenticity to her role.

Stronger Character Arc in Sequel

The actress revealed that Yalina’s character evolves significantly in the sequel. “The real depth of Yalina’s character came in part two,” Sara said, indicating that the sequel allowed her role to grow both emotionally and narratively, with hints of unexpected twists that will surprise audiences.

Beyond Dhurandhar 2, Sara spoke about her upcoming Telugu film Euphoria, where she plays a lead role exploring the lives of children in conflict with the law. She noted that the story’s strength and her character’s resilience drew her to the project. “The character showed strength and resilience. The story moved me,” she said.

Reflecting on her work across multiple film industries, Sara emphasized that meaningful stories now take precedence over regional boundaries. “Cinema felt the same everywhere now. Stories mattered more than language,” she said, signaling her focus on creative roles rather than linguistic or regional labels.

When asked about her next projects, Sara remained open-ended. “Nothing was decided yet, and I was okay with that,” she added, suggesting she is exploring roles that align with her artistic vision.
