Pakistani social media personality Rajab Butt is at the center of a heated online controversy after allegations surfaced from his brother-in-law, Aoun Sheikh. Aoun publicly accused Butt of allegedly cheating on his sister, Emaan Butt, during her pregnancy, sparking widespread debate over ethics, accountability, and family responsibility among digital influencers in Pakistan.
According to Aoun Sheikh, Rajab engaged in inappropriate chats while Emaan was expecting and failed to provide the emotional and practical support expected of a spouse during such a critical period. When confronted, Rajab allegedly denied wrongdoing and attempted to misrepresent the situation on social media.
Adding to the controversy, Aoun claimed that Rajab’s uncle addressed Emaan directly, stating: “Rajab will always behave like this. You decide if you want to build a home with him or not.” This, Aoun says, implied tacit approval of Rajab’s alleged misconduct by family elders, raising questions about accountability within family structures.
Aoun explained that he had previously refrained from going public to protect family harmony but warned that continued behavior could compel him to reveal the full truth, including prior incidents allegedly overlooked by others. He also criticized social media discussions led by influencers Maan Dogar and Haider Shah, claiming that narratives were misrepresented and unfairly targeted him.
Despite the ongoing tensions, Aoun emphasized that his primary goal remains for Emaan and Rajab to stay together for the sake of their child, asserting that he has consistently acted with integrity to preserve the family and avoid further harm.
This controversy is the latest in a series of public disputes involving Rajab Butt, with previous scrutiny over his online behavior. The personal nature of the current allegations has amplified public interest, sparking widespread discussions on social media about private ethics, family responsibility, and the challenges faced by public figures in Pakistan.
