A fresh controversy has emerged in Pakistan’s digital influencer space after Emaan Rajab made serious allegations against her former partner, YouTuber Rajab Butt, regarding their son Kivan’s recent “face reveal” video.
In a strongly worded Instagram story, Emaan Rajab claimed that the viral footage showing Rajab Butt meeting his son for the first time was not an emotional, spontaneous moment, but rather a “planned, recorded, and deliberately leaked” clip intended for publicity. She alleged that the video was circulated by individuals from his circle to generate sympathy and improve public perception.
According to her statement, the moment being portrayed online was carefully managed and structured as content rather than a private family reunion. She further claimed that people close to Rajab Butt, including friends and relatives, were involved in recording and sharing the footage during Eid celebrations.
Emaan also stated that there had been a prior mutual understanding between both parents to keep their child away from social media exposure for several years. She alleged that this agreement was violated, adding that her minor child was used without her consent in the creation and distribution of online content.
She expressed deep distress over the situation, arguing that such incidents highlight a broader issue within influencer culture, where personal and emotional moments are increasingly turned into content for engagement and visibility. She stressed that what is being presented as a heartfelt memory is, in her view, a calculated attempt to shape public perception following their separation.
