Momina Iqbal Harassment Case Takes New Turn as Investigation Into Saqib Chadhar Continues

The harassment case filed by Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal against MPA Saqib Chadhar has taken a new development as investigators continue to examine evidence and collect digital records related to the matter. Authorities have confirmed that the case is still under active investigation and no final conclusion has been reached.

According to reports aired by 24NewsHD TV, the case was initially registered on the basis of a complaint submitted by the actress. Officials have clarified that while the investigation is ongoing, the accused has not yet been proven guilty, and legal proceedings are still at an early stage.

Director Cyber Crime Ali Waseem stated that the case was registered based on preliminary information, and further inquiry is required before any final determination can be made. He added that multiple aspects of the case are currently under review by the investigation team.

Authorities have issued a notice to MPA Saqib Chadhar, directing him to submit his mobile phone to the inquiry team for forensic analysis. However, officials have noted that the required device has not yet been provided, which has become a key part of the ongoing investigation process.

Investigators have confirmed that both the complainant and the accused have been asked to submit relevant digital devices. These devices will undergo detailed analysis as part of the evidence-gathering process, which is expected to play a crucial role in determining the outcome of the case.

Officials explained that forensic examination of mobile phones and digital data will help establish communication patterns and provide clarity on the allegations. Additional evidence is also being collected to support the investigation.

At present, Saqib Chadhar remains on bail and continues to cooperate with the inquiry process. Authorities have stated that any further legal action, including the possibility of arrest, will be decided after the completion of the forensic report and overall investigation.

The case, which has drawn significant public attention, remains under preliminary inquiry, with officials emphasizing that all facts will be reviewed before reaching a final conclusion. Investigators have assured that the process will be completed in accordance with legal procedures and due diligence.

As the investigation continues, both parties remain under scrutiny, and authorities are expected to issue further updates once the analytical reports are finalized.
