Court Extends Saqib Chadhar’s Interim Bail in Momina Iqbal Harassment Case Until July 13

A local court has extended the interim bail of Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar in the harassment case filed by Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal, marking another development in the ongoing legal proceedings.

According to a report by 24NewsHD TV, the matter was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Nusrat Siddiqui, who extended the interim bail until July 13 and directed the accused to fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

During the hearing, the investigating officer informed the court that key evidence, including Saqib Chadhar’s mobile phone, had only recently been handed over for forensic examination. The officer stated that the investigation could not be completed until the device was properly analyzed.

Following the submission, the court instructed the investigation team to expedite the process and ensure that the probe is completed before the next hearing. The case was subsequently adjourned until July 13.

Momina Iqbal’s legal counsel argued before the court that the accused was allegedly misusing influence and deliberately delaying the investigation process. The lawyer maintained that progress in the case was being hindered due to these alleged actions.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had earlier registered a case against Saqib Chadhar based on a complaint filed by Momina Iqbal, in which she accused him of harassment.

The court also emphasized the importance of completing the investigation transparently and presenting the full record at the next hearing to ensure due legal process is followed.

The case continues to draw public attention as legal proceedings move forward, with the next hearing scheduled for July 13.
