TikToker Alina Aamir Files FIR Over AI Deepfake Video

Popular TikToker Alina Aamir has lodged an FIR against individuals involved in creating and circulating an AI-generated deepfake video featuring her face, asserting that she will hold everyone responsible accountable.

The video, which went viral two weeks ago, digitally superimposed Alina’s face onto another woman’s body and was widely shared on social media. Alina clarified that the clip was entirely AI-generated and not real.

Speaking on the issue, Alina said she initially remained silent for nearly a week to observe the situation. However, after witnessing hundreds of posts falsely claiming the video as real, she decided to respond publicly and take legal action.

The FIR, she confirmed via a social media post, targets everyone involved in creating, sharing, and spreading the AI deepfake. Alina emphasized that all responsible parties would be held accountable as an example to others.

Alina expressed gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Provincial Minister Hina Parvez Butt, and the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) for their prompt support in handling the matter.

She stated her aim is to become a voice for girls affected by such digital harassment, encouraging them to speak out rather than remain silent. “If you are truthful, no one can harass you or silence your voice,” Alina said.

Alina added that while she could have ignored the issue, she chose to take a stand to prevent others from facing similar situations. “I will not forgive anyone,” she said. “I will take all those responsible to justice. I am grateful to Allah for giving me the strength to raise my voice, and I advise all girls to stand up for themselves as well.”
