Pakistani actress Nimra Khan has opened up about her ongoing fitness journey, sharing how her husband’s encouragement has played a key role in reshaping her mindset toward health, body image, and lifestyle discipline.
During her appearance on Gup Shap with Vasay Chaudhry, the actress reflected on her life after marriage and candidly spoke about how comfort and happiness influenced her eating habits. “Alhamdulillah, I am married now and I have started eating happily. I actually enjoy food,” she shared. She added that she often struggled with self-image concerns, explaining that she would overthink her weight and appearance despite her husband encouraging a more positive outlook.
Nimra Khan revealed that her husband has consistently motivated her to focus on discipline rather than pressure when it comes to fitness. According to her, he advised her to set achievable goals, maintain a structured routine, and prioritize healthy habits such as proper sleep and early morning workouts.
She explained that she has incorporated regular physical activity into her daily routine, including skipping exercises ranging from 300 to 500 jumps as part of her cardio training, along with light Zumba sessions to stay active and energized.
The actress also spoke about her evolving dietary habits, mentioning that she is experimenting with intermittent fasting and a one-meal-a-day approach. She emphasized that she is still learning what works best for her body and adjusting her routine accordingly.
“At the moment, I’m trying one meal a day so I can fast for longer periods and then have a proper meal,” she said, adding that she focuses on protein intake to support her fitness goals and maintain energy levels.
Nimra further explained that her eating schedule varies based on her fasting routine, noting that she often consumes liquids for extended periods before having a full meal later in the day.
