Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent 2 has once again come under scrutiny after a complaint was filed against casting director Mukesh Chhabra and Netflix India over allegedly inappropriate language used during a recent episode.
The complaint was filed by Anurag Shrivastav, who said he watched the episode on Netflix on the evening of September 22, 2026. The episode featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bhuvan Bam, Mukesh Chhabra, Kaustubh Agarwal and host Samay Raina.
According to reports citing the complaint, Shrivastav alleged that Chhabra used a sexually suggestive and objectionable remark while appearing as a panel member on the show.
The complainant described the alleged language as inappropriate and raised concerns about its potential impact on viewers. However, an important part of the complaint is that it does not treat the allegation as independently established.
The complaint reportedly states that the authenticity of the statement, the identity of the speaker, the complete context and the exact timestamp must be verified using the original and unedited recording.
Shrivastav has requested an investigation into the matter. He has argued that if the alleged statement is confirmed, it could raise questions concerning viewer dignity and online child safety.
The complaint has also named Netflix India and questioned how the content was reviewed and approved before being made available on the streaming platform.
