Pakistani actress Javeria Saud has appeared to weigh in on the ongoing dispute involving television host Nadia Khan and Javeria’s husband, Saud Qasmi, after sharing a pointed “Phuphay Kutni” meme on social media.
The latest development has added another layer to a public exchange that began after Saud Qasmi discussed Nadia during an appearance on Vasay Chaudhry’s talk show Gup Shab.
During the programme, Saud criticized Nadia’s approach to asking questions about controversial matters involving people from the entertainment industry. He argued that certain discussions can unnecessarily intensify disagreements between celebrities.
Saud also referred to a question Nadia had previously asked the daughter of designer Amir Adnan. He brought up an older dispute involving actors Humayun Saeed and Atiqa Odho while discussing how controversies within the entertainment industry can sometimes continue to attract attention.
Following Saud’s remarks, Nadia responded on her Instagram Stories with a sarcastic message aimed at him. She appeared to question his version of events and suggested that he had forgotten his “script” while discussing the matter.

Nadia also made claims concerning alleged unpaid dues involving senior actors. These allegations were made by Nadia and have not been independently established, so they remain part of the ongoing exchange between the personalities involved.
The television host also addressed Vasay Chaudhry, suggesting that his discussion of her on the programme was influenced by his friendship with Saud. Nadia questioned whether such references would benefit the show’s audience or ratings.
She subsequently praised Imran Ashraf and Mazaq Raat, highlighting the programme’s appeal and distinctive entertainment style.
Amid the growing social media discussion, Javeria Saud appeared to respond indirectly by sharing a meme featuring the phrase “پھپھے کُٹنی” (Phuphay Kutni).
The Urdu expression is commonly used in a negative or mocking manner for someone perceived as a gossip, an interfering person or someone who becomes involved in other people’s affairs.
The meme featured a cartoon character with an exaggerated expression and flames coming from her mouth, giving the post a clearly sarcastic tone.
Javeria did not directly name Nadia in the post. However, its timing, coming as the disagreement between Nadia and Saud was unfolding publicly, led social media users to interpret the meme as a reference to the television host.
The development has therefore brought Javeria into a controversy that initially centered on comments made by her husband and Nadia’s subsequent response.
Neither side has indicated that the dispute is over, and the exchange continues to attract attention among Pakistani entertainment audiences. The latest social media post from Javeria has further fueled speculation about the ongoing tensions between the personalities.
